In 2005, the arrival of her daughter Chloe sparked Corey's interest in clothing design, resulting in the establishment of her business, Little Miss Shabby. Specializing in appliquéd children's clothing, Corey's creative journey took a new turn. With the birth of her daughter Elonie in 2009, Corey shifted her focus back to quilting, concentrating on designing and crafting her own original quilts.

Corey's designs, showcased through Coriander Quilts, reflect her penchant for infusing a modern twist into traditional block designs. A prolific contributor to books and magazines, Corey has also authored several books, cementing her influence in the quilting community.
